Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Operate and repair the facility’s HVAC systems to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
+ Monitor operation of the HVAC systems, noting current status, identifying potential problems, and taking corrective action where appropriate.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance and other standard operating procedures.
+ Perform preventative maintenance repairs, alterations, and routine operations to the facility systems.
+ Record and log all work performed, complete work order slips and compile all required reports in a timely and complete manner.
+ Respond to routine, precautionary and emergency alarms from building automation and life safety systems.
+ May occasionally have to enter areas where fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals are present.
