Job Description
Perform skilled Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration tasks in order to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of air conditioning, heating, refrigeration and ventilation systems for the main FIT camps. This includes off-side facilities in the local area. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime as required to meet mission objectives. Technician will be required to carry the after hours on-call phone. This is a rotating responsibility in the HVAC shop and will be assigned by the HVAC Supervisor. Technician will be required to be on campus for pre-hurricane activities and will be required to report to campus post-hurricane as directed.Daily inspections and maintenance of air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
