HV Technician

Exciting opportunity for Electrical Technicians with experience of high voltage (HV, 11kV / 33kV) testing and maintenance to become a Senior Authorised Person for private networks.

• Carrying out the inspection and maintenance (reactive and planned) of HV and LV equipment up to 132kV; equipment will include switchgear, transformers, ring main units, busbars, circuit breakers and protection systems
• Plan, carry out and supervise HV switching schedules, ensuring compliance with Company Safety Rules
• Manage fault location and response, diagnosis and repair
• Provide quotations for works, work packages and plans, job instructions and RAMS
• Coordinate the work of Electrical Technicians, supervising junior staff
