Job Summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building products, technologies, software, and services, is hiring an HR Generalist for a manufacturing facility in Canada. The HR Generalist will deliver core HR services, support managers and employees, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop effective working relationships with local management and employees to influence and coach them on employment practices.
• Assist local management with performance management issues, employee inquiries or complaints, grievances, and implementation of company-wide HR activities.
• Conduct investigations and recommend actions to resolve policy violations, seeking counsel from the HR Leader or Legal as needed.
