Role Purpose

The HR Officer will support Rio Fish's growing workforce by strengthening people systems, compliance, performance management, and staff wellbeing. The role is critical in supporting a fast-growing, mission-driven organization working with rural communities, women, and youth.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage HR policies, procedures, and staff handbook
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and exits
• Manage payroll inputs, leave administration, and staff records
• Support performance management, appraisals, and staff development plans
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and statutory requirements
• Support employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes
