Overview

HTRC Technician role at MTC - Manufacturing Technology Centre. Location: High Temperature Research Centre (HTRC), Ansty Park, Coventry. Contract: Permanent — 36 hours per week. Benefits: Vitality Medical, Company Pension, Tusker Car Scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme & more.

Responsibilities

• Operate bridgeman-style furnaces
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Perform inspection processes to ensure quality and on-time delivery
• Follow work instructions and route cards accurately
• Care for casting equipment, including preventative maintenance
• Support manufacturing engineers with cost estimates and lead times
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in vacuum furnace operation (vacuum systems, temperature control, inert gas usage)
• BTEC/Level 3 qualification in engineering or equivalent experience
