HSE Specialist

You will join a multidisciplinary site-based project team focused on delivering a high-quality, technically complex cold storage facility. The project operates under a structured safety programme and places strong emphasis on digital workflows and stakeholder collaboration. The HSE Specialist plays a strategic and operational role within the team, reporting directly to the on-site Project Manager and functionally to the Process Director.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed the project’s safety programme across the construction site.


• Manage Permit-to-Work processes for high-risk tasks (working at height, lifting, hot works, etc.).


• Organise Daily Activity Briefings (DABs), toolbox talks, and onboarding inductions.


• Perform daily safety inspections and audits using a digital construction platform.


• Monitor environmental risks including waste, noise, dust, and emissions.
