HSE Coordinator - D2

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To ensure compliance to legislation, mine policies, codes of practices, standard rules and procedures in respect of Health, Safety and Environmental issues in a designated area of responsibility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or a Degree either specializing in Safety Management, Mining or Engineering is essential
• Computer literacy (MS Office package) is essential
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Chief/Safety Officer is essential
• Must have a valid code EB (08) licence and own transport
• Must have experience and knowledge of SHE management systems across the entire spectrum
• Must have experience and knowledge of health and safety regulatory requirements including the application of different permits and permissions
• COMSOC/SAMTRAC/COMPLAT, and all other safety-related qualifications is essential
