The **HRAC Mechanic** maintains, repairs refrigeration, air conditioning, and water cooling equipment, boilers, HVAC and associated physical plant equipment. The HRAC Mechanic inspect, repair, replace, and perform maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they remain in a fully operational condition.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform repair and/or replacement of A/C systems to include: window units and portable units installed by DPW, package units, split systems to include A/C systems that are installed in ventilation systems, A/C systems controls and humidifiers In the event of a power outage various systems may require manual restart.
