Job #5054 – Our well-established client is looking for an HR & Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic team. The role involves taking ownership of payroll processing for a multi‑union environment while providing administrative support for the HR department. The ideal candidate is a team player, quick learner, highly organized, deadline driven, and attentive to detail. The position reports to the Manager of HR.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for union and non‑union employees while adhering to company policies and collective agreements
- Complete weekly and monthly tax and union remittances and reporting, consistently meeting strict deadlines
- Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding for employees, including systems setup and benefits enrollment
- Respond to employee questions and complete tracking for vacation, benefits, accommodations, employee training / certifications, and other compliance requirements
