HR Manager

Human Resources Manager – 18 Month Contract (Barrie, Ontario)

Location: 128 Wellington Street West, Barrie, Ontario. Position reports to the Area Director and supports HR functions within the branch setting in collaboration with the assigned National Service Centre HR Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with discipline and counseling of employees as requested.
• Maintain current knowledge of provincial legislation relating to employment standards, human rights, workplace health and safety, and labour laws; handle real or suspected violations of legislated requirements.
• Handle all telephone and written inquiries relating to the hiring and selection of field employees, and ensure compliance with National Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding policies.
