Job Description
The HR Lead is responsible for overseeing and developing the organisation’s HR function, ensuring robust, legally compliant and effective people processes across the charity.
Reporting to the Head of Culture, Communication & Engagement, the HR Lead will act as the organisation’s employment law specialist and lead on employee relations, policy development, and HR systems.
This is an autonomous role requiring strong generalist HR knowledge, confidence in advising managers, and the ability to design practical processes that support managers and improve organisational culture.
This role is part time 18 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Employment Law & Employee Relations
- Act as the organisation’s lead advisor on UK employment law and legislative changes.
- Lead on complex employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, flexible working and redundancy.
