HR Business Partner – East Africa region

1. Background

The East Africa Regional Office in Nairobi, Kenya is seeking HR Business Partner support to strengthen HR operations, provide regional support across all HR practices, and support strategic thinking and change management related to our future organizational setup.

The role combines hands-on operational HR support with advisory, analytical, and change preparedness responsibilities, with a strong focus on compliance, capacity building, and scenario-based HR planning.

This ToR is designed to allow flexibility in contracting (e.g. consultant or fixed-term staff) depending on organizational needs and legal feasibility.

2. Purpose of the Role

The HR Business Partner will:

• Provide hands-on regional HR support across all HR practices in Kenya and the wider East Africa region.
• Advise on and implement HR-related change management across the region.
