Housekeeping Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant at Arkley Care Home located at 140 Barnet Road, Barnet EN5 3LJ . This is a permanent part‑time role of 24 hours per week with a salary of £13.10 – £14.10 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the care home, working closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Vacuum, mop, polish and generally up‑keep communal areas and residents' bedrooms.
• Ensure residents are kept happy and their environment is tidy.
• Maintain housekeeping stocks for day‑to‑day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Take pride in completing work to a high standard and maintaining an organised environment.
• Capable of multitasking and managing multiple requests at once.
• Comfortable working with other teams to keep residents comfortable and happy.
