**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

Responsible for maintaining clinical exposure through intervention, coordination of patient care, role modeling and consulting /problem solving. Utilizing the nursing process, ensures compliance with quality standards established by regulatory agencies, Hospital standards of care, performance enhancement programs, and risk management. Builds and sustains collegial relationships, generates commitment, resolves conflicts, and collaborates with others, both individually and teams, to achieve desired outcomes. Performance management techniques are consistently applied leading to positive results and a well developed staff. Provides a caring environment in support of St. Luke's Hospital's mission, vision and values. Facilitates unit/ hospital performance enhancement projects through positive communication and rounding.
