Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Customer Service orientated position primarily responsible for greeting and welcoming, seating, and thanking guests at the restaurant according to Potomac Family Dining Group and Applebee’s brand standards for guest service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
Greets and seats all guests in a friendly
Assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the
Ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments whenever
Opens doors for arriving and departing
Remains visible in the FOH and forward facing the main
Occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests when extra assistance is
Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat
Completes assigned opening and closing side work as
Participates in the clearing and resetting of the dining room tables using Applebee’s team delivery
Observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guests’
