Job Summary

Under the direction of the Family Medicine Department Head and the medical director for the area, the hospitalist performs non-specialized clinical work delivering general medical care to admitted patients in the assigned hospital facility. Duties include medical services related to the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and may require working closely with various health professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat illnesses in admitted patients.
• Work closely with other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide general medical care as part of the hospitalist team.

Requirements

• Degree from a recognized medical school and residency granting a licence in family medicine.
