**Job Description**

**UW Medical Center-Montlake Environmental Services** has multiple employment opportunities for **temporary full-time Evening Hospital Custodians.**

_These positions are benefits-eligible and anticipated to be up to 6-12 months in duration._

**WORK SCHEDULE**

_We are looking to fill:_

+ Temporary Evening Shift Positions: 3:00pm – 11:00pm - Rotating every other weekend.

**POSITION HIGHTLIGHTS**

Maintaining cleanliness and care of facilities in inpatient and non-patient areas and administrative offices as assigned.

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Cleans and disinfects all furniture, fixtures, and equipment according to procedure
+ Removes and properly handles soiled linen; disinfects and remakes beds in patient rooms; dust and wet mops hard floors with disinfectant
+ Performs bloodborne pathogen and chemical spill containment and clean-up according to procedure
