Hospital Concierge & Security

Your Position at St John of God Geelong Hospital

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hospital Concierge and Security to welcome caregivers, patients and visitors, delivering an exceptional hospital experience. You will mainly work at the front of house, attend emergency codes to support clinical staff, and assist engineering teams when required.

Hours: Full time, Monday–Friday 0800–1606 (7.6 hours), with some weekends and public holidays.

The Position

• Meet and greet patients and visitors to the hospital, providing a welcoming friendly first point of contact, ensuring that all people feel welcome.

• Responsible for the security of the caregivers, patients and visitors coming to the hospital.

• Provide assistance to front reception teams in the event of aggressive behaviours expressed by any person, and provide support with deescalating these behaviours Respond to relevant emergency codes Asc...
