Job Description

This is a temporary position and will only run until the end of August and will NOT convert to a permanent position.

Must have Hospice and Coding experience to be considered.

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00

Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM EST or CST.

Summary

The Medical Coder is accountable for reviewing documentation in the patient medical record in order to code based on Medicare requirements, including ICD-10 guidelines. The Hospice Quality Coding specialist has a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
