POSITION VACANCY: Homestay Coordinator & Community Relations (0.8 FTE)

The Homestay Coordinator and Community Relations ensures safe, legal, and enriching homestay placements and student support while leading community outreach across Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Reporting to the District Principal of International Education, this role serves as the primary liaison among students, host families, schools, and overseas agents.

Homestay Placement, Vetting, and Retention

• Recruit new host families through local marketing campaigns, school and community networks, and informational events.
• Conduct regular, mandatory home inspections and interviews to assess the safety, suitability, and emotional environment of host homes.
