Homelessness Prevention & Solutions Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Homelessness Prevention & Solutions Officer for a Local Authority Client in Northwest London.

In this role you will prevent and relieve homelessness by assessing housing need and helping individuals and families secure and sustain suitable accommodation.

Duties:

• Assess homelessness applications and determine statutory housing duties in line with legislation.
• Develop and manage Personal Housing Plans to prevent and relieve homelessness.
• Negotiate with landlords, agents, and partners to secure and sustain accommodation.
• Provide advice and support on housing options, welfare benefits, and tenancy sustainment.
