New Directions Education, are recruiting for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA’s) for daily/long term cover, to work within a SEMH Provision in Wakefield, supporting learners KS1 – KS3.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for people who are dedicated in supporting learners to thrive within the classroom and outdoor learning facilities.
We want to hear from:
Knowledge of trauma-informed approached and therapeutic behaviour support.
Trained in Team-Teach or other behaviour intervention methods.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant statis pr equivalent qualification/experience.
Strong communication skills.
Working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, can be a very rewarding but also a very demanding role. This role involves working closely with teaching staff, SENCO’s and external agencies to deliver high-quality education for pupils with a range of needs, ...
