Overview

Tradewind Recruitment seeks a versatile, proactive educator to join a high‑achieving primary school in Leigh starting this September.

This key appointment supports classroom teachers and leads whole‑class learning for Reception to Year 2, acting as a bridge during teacher absence.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning: deliver pre‑planned lessons across EYFS and Key Stage 1, maintain high expectations for all pupils.
• Show curriculum expertise: demonstrate strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and National Curriculum for KS1.
• Master interventions: lead targeted phonics (ideally RWI), early literacy and numeracy sessions to close attainment gaps.
• Collaborate: work closely with the SLT and class teachers to assess pupil progress and adapt materials.
