Monarch Education is working with a primary school in Bournville to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time position.

This role involves supporting teaching and learning across the school, including leading lessons and covering classes where required. You will work closely with teachers to deliver planned lessons and support pupils across different year groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
• Support the planning and preparation of learning activities
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to support progress
• Assist with assessment and tracking of pupil development
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
