**Job Summary:**

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Performs Class I and Class II HLA molecular typing according to written protocols. Performs ABO-Rh and CMV total and chimerism DNA Sendouts according to written protocols.
+ Applies special handling to low-concentration DNA samples or when instructed through the laboratory management system.
+ Monitors reagent inventory and notifies supervisor before additional reagents are needed.
+ Performs annual unknown testing of a previously characterized sample for each test that is performed in lab, including samples from external proficiency testing programs.
