LabCorp is seeking a **Histology Technician** to join our team in Seattle, WA

**Work Schedule:** Casual / Per Diem

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Process human tissue and body fluid specimens in preparation for microscopic examination
+ Perform technical duties related to the production of histopathological slides from surgical specimens
+ Embed, orient, and section tissue using a microtome, ensuring proper slide preparation
+ Perform routine histology procedures, including H&E and special staining techniques
+ Conduct immunohistochemical (IHC) testing on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections
+ Prepare stains, reagents, and solutions required for laboratory procedures
+ Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manual and automated laboratory instrumentation
+ Report accurate and timely test results to support quality patient care
+ Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
