Compensation: $30.00-$40.00/hour

Overview
A growing biotechnology organization in the Rockville, MD area is seeking a Histotechnician to support an expanding pathology laboratory. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, close-knit team while working on cutting-edge preclinical and clinical research projects in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Responsibilities


+ Perform routine histology procedures including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, cryosectioning, and staining

+ Process approximately 10-20 tissue samples daily from toxicology studies and research programs

+ Prepare paraffin tissue blocks and section 5-10 blocks daily, with occasional higher-volume periods
