In this role, the Histotechnician (HT) assumes a critical position within the laboratory, contributing significantly to the diagnostic process by meticulously preparing tissue samples for microscopic examination. Under the guidance of pathologists and laboratory management, responsibilities encompass the processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting of tissue specimens. The HT must demonstrate a high level of precision, attention to detail, and strict adherence to laboratory protocols to ensure the generation of accurate and reliable results.
