**Job Summary and Qualifications**

**What you will do in this role:**

**Performs histological procedures of tissue processing, embedding tissues, cutting ribbons using a microtome, hematoxylin and eosin staining, cover slipping and labeling. Must use exacting technical skills during each of these phases.**

**Performs immunohistochemical stains.**

**Follows prescribed procedures using appropriate control tissues to ensure proper reactivity and staining result.**

**Responsible for properly using and maintaining the QA of histology laboratory equipment: microtome, processors, stainers, embedding, paraffin dispenser and other tools in the histology departmen...
