Histology Services Supervisor

Labcorp is seeking a **Lab Supervisor** to join our Anatomic Cytoprep and Histology team in **Tampa, FL** .

**Work Schedule:** _Monday – Friday (8a – 5p); flexibility required_

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Supervise the day to day operations of the Cytoprep and Histology teams within the Anatomic Pathology department including customer service/support services
+ Responsible for problem management, client communication, etc.
+ Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
+ Directly supervise, train, and mentor laboratory and non-technical personnel of the department
+ Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate coverage
+ Responsible for ensuring all shifts in the department are properly staffed
+ Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary
+ Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
