Job Description
LabCorp is seeking a **Histology Project Specialist** to join our team at our lab in Tampa, FL.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with flexible start time: 7am - 9am.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Training, teaching and giving lectures to students in our NAACLS Accredited Histology Education Program (24 hours)
+ 16 hours histology bench work
+ Develop and facilitate laboratory improvement projects
+ Create SOPs for both cytology and histology.
+ Review and resolve various laboratory audit reports.
+ Conduct inspections in the laboratory to ensure compliance.
+ Assist departments with training staff on LabCorp information systems and processes.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Histology OR a Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Histology, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology with 3 or more years of histology experience
