Job Description
The HIL Test Engineer is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems to validate embedded control systems, primarily in automotive, aerospace, or industrial applications.
This role ensures that software and hardware components function correctly under simulated real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, and maintain HIL test benches and simulation environments; Design and execute test cases for embedded systems and control algorithms; Integrate real-time simulation models (e.g. plant models) into HIL systems; Automate test scripts using tools such as Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or CAPL; Perform validation of ECUs (Electronic Control Units) under various operating scenarios; Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis; Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams; Ensure compliance with industry standards and functional safety requirements (e.g. ISO ***...Ready to Apply?
