Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Highway Design Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will play a key technical role in the planning and design of complex road and highway projects, developing horizontal and vertical alignments, junction layouts, and construction details that directly shape critical infrastructure and improve mobility, safety, and connectivity for the communities we serve.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide project design civil engineering services, including preparation of project study reports, project reports, geometric approval drawings, plans, specifications, and estimates.
Design horizontal and vertical roadway alignments and super-elevation diagrams in accordance with applicable standards.
Perform quantity calculations and prepare project estimates.
