Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Role Summary

We are seeking a confident and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching, deliver learning activities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lesson Delivery – Lead learning for individuals, groups, or whole classes.

IEP Support – Assist with IEPs and monitor pupil progress.

Classroom Environment – Maintain a calm, supportive, and structured learning space.

Staff Support – Share are of expertise and help train colleagues.

Supervision – Supervise pupils during trips and off‑site activities.
About You
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience).

Strong communication and clarity when giving instructions.

Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
