Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Corby Technical School

Responsibilities

Work closely with teachers, families and external professionals to remove barriers to learning and coordinate and model excellent practice across the team. Lead and strengthen day-to-day SENd provision by designing, constructing and delivering bespoke learning opportunities that meet individual needs—including targeted interventions, adaptive in‑class strategies and personalised programmes. Support students who present with challenging behaviour, non‑compliance or dysregulation, maintaining calm, consistency and high expectations.

Hours & Contract

Term time only, 37 hours per week. Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Friday (although the latter schedule refers to Brooke Weston Trust, it is included for completeness).
