The role

Protocol Education works with friendly, supportive primary schools across South Bristol, and we’re looking for confident, experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants who love being right at the heart of school life.

These roles are perfect for HLTAs who enjoy building relationships, stepping in to support learning and helping children feel safe, confident and proud of their progress, whether that’s with phonics, times tables or just having a great day at school.

We place HLTAs into both short- and long-term roles, carefully matching you with schools that suit your experience, strengths and availability.

You’ll be supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working one-to-one, in small groups and sometimes leading the class when the teacher is away.
