JOB SUMMARY:


The post holder will be responsible for working as part of a team and on his/her own initiative within a busy Radiology Service, providing efficient and effective administrative service to the Radiology Directorate.


KEY RESULT AREAS / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


The post holder will:

  • Act as a main link for enquiries from within and outside the department an ensure that all information/messages are communicated to relevant staff in an appropriate and timely manner.

  • Reception duties – first point of contact with radiology patients to include outpatient reception duties, dealing with GP Rapid Response referrals and visiting clinic schedule management.

  • Appointing duties – using Radiology Information System and Encompass to make, reschedule, cancel and manage appointments appropriately in line with IEAP policy.
