High School Health Teacher

Job Description

The High School Health Teacher is a highly qualified, state-certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. Teachers provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs. They monitor student progress through the learning management system and work closely with students, parents, and learning coaches to advance each student’s learning toward established goals. Teachers typically work from home but may travel occasionally throughout the year to various school functions, state testing, and as required by the school.

Start Date: August 2026

Full-time position: Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week, in a professional home office with reliable high-speed internet.

Certificates and Licenses

State of Ohio 7‑12 Health Education teaching certification.
