High Horsepower Field Service Engineer

**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**

+ Gathers input from technical managers, project leaders, engineers, and suppliers to inform quality-focused product decisions.
+ Uses academic knowledge and prior experience to make timely decisions that keep projects moving without compromising quality.
+ Makes day‑to‑day decisions on project details, analysis plans, test instructions, and cross‑discipline coordination.
+ Applies and improves processes such as ESW, iDFMEA, FIRG, and tools like 7‑step problem solving and design review checklists.
+ Independently leads smaller‑impact projects or owns complex components/systems with higher ambiguity and full accountability.
+ Drives development and improvement of work processes within a functional discipline
+ Directs work of technicians and student employees; supports knowledge transfer to less‑experienced engineers.
