Job Purpose
- To provide a high-quality maintenance, inspection, repair, and testing service for HGVs, specialist vehicles, light commercial vehicles, plant equipment, and electric or hybrid vehicles. The role ensures the Council fleet remains fully operational, compliant with DVSA regulations, operator licence requirements, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, servicing, inspection, repair, and testing of HGVs, light commercial vehicles, specialist fleet vehicles, and plant equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults efficiently.
