HGV Technician - Derby

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join the team in Derby on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of heavy and light commercial vehicles, including sweepers and refuse collection vehicles (RCVs).

Location: Derby
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £20.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV and LCV vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Undertake welding and fabrication work where required.
• Work on a range of fleet vehicles including refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) and sweepers.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with health and safety requirements.
