HGV / Plant Workshop Technician

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• To effectively produce high quality of work in an efficient and compliant manner
• Maintain fleet of HGV s and LCV s and trailers
• Achieve and maintain any required technical qualifications related to this role
• Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
• Carry out periodic safety inspections to all vehicles
• To complete accurate record systems to ensure that maintenance and service costs are captured against relevant vehicles
• Carry out defect rectification when reported
• Good communication with the Transport Office for scheduling workload
• To have a flexible and willing approach to undertake a range of tasks
• Performing MOT preparations and compliance checks
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety and DVSA regulations
