HGV Mechanic

Our client is a respected, family-run plant and transport business operating a mixed fleet of plant machinery and heavy goods vehicles based in Redditch . Due to upcoming staff changes and long-term planning, they are seeking a multi-skilled engineer who can support both HGV maintenance and plant machinery repairs. This is a long-term, stable opportunity within a supportive and friendly working environment. Role Overview Carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on HGVs & Heavy Plant Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance Maintain, service, and repair plant machinery Respond to breakdowns and conduct reactive repairs Perform safety checks and preventative maintenance Maintain detailed service records and documentation Work effectively as part of a small engineering team Qualifications & Experience Relevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
