HGV Driver/Yard Operative - Avonmouth.
Salary: Around £30,000 per annum, pending experience. Hours: 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. Our client, a large franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in the Avonmouth region, requires an experienced and professional HGV Driver/Yard Operative to join their team.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, as a HGV Driver/Yard Operative, your main duties will include:
Safely operating commercial vehicles, collecting customer vehicles from various sites and presenting vehicles for MOT. Carrying out road tests of vehicles following workshop repairs and reporting findings to the Workshop Manager. Conducting pre and post-trip vehicle checks and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Ensuring vehicles are parked safely and in designated areas at all times.
