HGV DRIVER

Overview

HGV Driver role at TieTalent. Location: Nottingham area. 816 Logistics in Nottinghamshire are looking for drivers with a clean driving record and a valid licence to join their team. Drivers will generally work from Sutton in Ashfield and Chesterfield. Weekend hours are required, especially around holidays and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Use route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to the warehouse on time.
• Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner.
• Work nights and weekends.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify the manager of any issues.
• Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow.
• Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries.
• There is no loading/unloading or cargo securing requirements for the driver (fulfilment centre team handles those).
