HGV Driver - Class 1 Nights

Position

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) drivers for night trunking work to start immediately for clients based in Preston and surrounding areas. The role is commutable from Blackpool, Fleetwood, Garstang, Southport, Chorley, Leyland, Bamber Bridge and other nearby locations.

Requirements

• UK issued Class 1 driving licence
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• Less than 8 points on your licence
• Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to vehicle care

Responsibilities

• Trunking from depot to depot
• Daily walk‑round and vehicle checks; report any damage or defects
• Correct use of tachograph and compliance with drivers’ hours regulations

Benefits

• Pay: £18.00 – £23.00 PAYE per hour (Monday‑Friday)
