HGV Drainage Engineer

Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a Class 2 HGV driver to operate our Gully Wagons on our Highways Division based in Bamber Bridge.

About the Role:

Driving / Operating one of our specialist highways HGV vehicles. We utilise a state of the art system called Samsara that allows drivers to report defects on a daily basis to ensure vehicle is safe and roadworthy at all times.

Part of your role as a HGV driver will be to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use at start of shift. You will be expected to integrate into the highways department where we currently have long standing contracts with several councils, these include Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Wigan and Cumbria.

The role will include gully cleaning, drainage investigation, cctv of highway drainage and working closely with our TM department on strategically critical highway routes to ensure roads users can go about their business on a daily basis. There is an element of IT c...
