HGV Class 2 Drivers

Customer Description

Manpower is currently looking for HGV 1 and 2 drivers to work with one of our clients based in Newbridge (near Edinburgh).

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises.
• Ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed & returned.
• Check the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards in terms of reporting any defects to the vehicle.
• Ensuring vehicles are in a safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use & are operated in a safe manner.

Essential Skills for the role

• To hold a valid HGV Class 1 or HGV Class 2 Licence (with no more than 6 points).
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
