HGV Class 2 Driver

The Best Connection Portsmouth are advertising on behalf of our client based in Fareham for a HGV Class 2 Driver. This will be ongoing work Monday to Friday.

You will be required to deliver cages of food to locations across the south coast. This role will require manual work of handball.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Deliver, exchange, and collect cages from commercial sites
• Ensure correct placement of deliveries in line with site requirements
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes)
• Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel
• Secure loads correctly and ensure cages are transported safely
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
